Something that always makes me double take are businesses in Colombia that are based on the combination of two unlikely (in my eyes) foods. For instance, “Pizza and Croissant” on the séptima and 60-something: lunch/dinner carb with morning/snack carb. I find foods from complementary groups such as Pizza & Salad, or from the same type of cuisine, e.g. Pizza & Pasta, to be more appealing. But somehow these combos catch on here. Intriguing!
